Click on the subclass name to read a fuller description and ask yourself these questions:

  1. Do the more general subclasses relate?
  2. Is there a more specific subclass that might be more on-target?

Once you're pretty sure you want to see the patents in the subclass, proceed to step 4. If you've changed your mind, go back to the index and try another word or phrase from your list.
